Yesterday was the last day of an Online Anxiety & Depression Recovery Retreat where I am a teacher & facilitator.
Seven brave ladies from the UK dared to open up. Each with their own story and there’s always the same conclusion at the end.
What people need
for themselves is
love and compassion
I was also inspired by my partner Vanessa Wallace who told me between the sessions that she had given a compassionate body scan meditation. Something immediately clicked in my heart: “That is the meditation that I will give tomorrow to my community.”
Compassion is really a gift that we should give ourselves every day. We are so hard on ourselves, we punish ourselves, we are so busy striving for something or just avoiding something.
Occasionally it is necessary to stop and just be.
So let’s meditate together with this Compassion Body Scan Meditation.
