Welcome to today’s meditation and I’m really excited because I’m going to use one of the 8 limbs of yoga as inspiration.
In yoga we work with 8 limbs. Each limb prepares us for Samadhi which is enlightenment. Limb 6 is Pratyahara where we withdraw the senses.
If you tune out
all the distractions
from the outside
you can truly witness
what goes on within.
During today’s meditation I’m going to challenge YOU to withdraw & listen, because our mind has made us forget what it’s like to truly listen.
How often are you listening to someone speak and in your mind you’re already thinking about what you’re going to say in return? Or maybe you’re just thinking of what to buy in the supermarket? Well… I hope you agree with me that in that case you are not present.
What distracts you
draws you away
from the present moment,
therefore it’s crucial
to remember how to listen.
Today we’re going deep in the body and even beyond. I want you to listen to what guides you. A natural order of guidance and support.
So let’s become a good listener and go deep within with this Witdraw & Listen Meditation (Pratyahara).
